about your photographer

 Hi, I’m Teresa.

I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. Tucked away somewhere in an old photo album, my mom has a photo of a 4 year old me with a camera in front of my face. 

But I didn’t like getting in front of the camera. 

Like most women I know I wasn’t crazy about how I looked in photos. But then my life took a dramatic and tragic turn, and that’s when I truly understood the value of a photo.

When photos are all you have left of someone you love, they become everything. That’s when I realized, there were no photos of me for my loved ones to cherish when I’m gone. So I made the choice to step in front of the camera, to allow myself to be vulnerable, so future generations could know who I am.

Now, my passion is to help other women do the same.

During a session with me I’ll be with you every step of the way. From picking the perfect outfit to making sure you feel relaxed and confident in front of the camera. I’ll show you how the world sees you: beautiful, strong, and worthy of being remembered.
